Sacha Baron Cohen brings us his first new show in more than a decade and he did it in true Sacha fashion.

Undercover.

The comedian filmed his new Showtime series ‘Who Is America?’ in secret for almost a year. Many people in L.A. were shocked when they saw the billboard in the way to work this week for the new show because the industry didn’t know it was taking place. That is until they dropped the teaser trailer online and announced that it will be airing on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET/PT THIS SUNDAY (July 15th)!? WHAT!?

You heard me correctly. It will make its debut on streaming, online and on demand Sunday at midnight. Subsequent episodes will air on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

“Sacha is a comedic genius who shocks you with his audacity, bravery and inventiveness,”
said Showtime Networks President and CEO David Nevins.

“He is the premier provocateur of our time, but not for the sake of ‘gotcha’ moments. Behind the elaborate setup is a genuine quest for the truth about people, places and politics. Nobody knows how to cause a stir like Sacha Baron Cohen, and it’s going to be fascinating to watch what happens when Who Is America? is released on the world.”

See what happens next this Sunday, July 15 at 10pm ET/PT when he will be joined by this first guest, Dick Chaney. Check out the teaser below.
