All Your Dreams & Nightmares Come True in HBO’s ‘Westworld’

The anticipated HBO Sci-fi series, Westworld is set to premiere October 2nd of this year. It’s a reimagining of Michael Crichton’s 1973 movie titled with the same name. It’s produced by none other than J.J. Abrams and Johnathan Nolan. Westworld has an amazing star studded cast as well including Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden and Jeffrey Wright.
The new trailer is as intriguing as the rest. Dolores, played by Evan Rachel Wood in a them park driven by androids. You can view the trailer here. Not only have the trailers and teasers been amazing but there is also a website called “Discover Westworld” which promises an immersive experience where you can book a nights stay to become who you have always wanted to be.

Recently James Marsden spoke to Entertainment Weekly about why filming came to a halt earlier in the year. “It wasn’t about getting the first 10 [episodes] done, it was about mapping out the what the next five or six years are going to be. We wanted everything to be in line so when the very last episode airs and we have our show finale, five or 7 years down the line, we knew how it was going to end the first season.”

We don’t know about you but we are so excited for this to start. We all need some good Sci-Fi in our lives and if the plan is to stay around for at least five years, then that is even better!

Westworld premieres October 2nd, 2016.
