The Bogus Boys, Bryce and Jayme, are back from a year-long hiatus! They have been working really hard on new nostalgic content for the Bogus Cast. They can’t wait to share it with you on August 19th but until then enjoy some re-run episodes from past seasons.
On this JAWESOME episode of the Bogus cast, the Bogus boys cover a list of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knock-offs. They kick off the show discussing the importance of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and the impression it left on their childhood. They also describe how TMNT was a game-changer for cartoons and merchandising as it spawned many knock-offs from other companies trying to cash in on the Turtle craze. This would open the door to so many interesting cartoons and odd titles.
The Bogus boys then jump feet first into their list of TMNT knock-offs. They go into deep detail about each pick highlighting interesting trivia, background stories, and how they compared to TMNT. Afterward, they wrap up the show with a few honorable mentions and what to expect from Bogus for the remainder of the season.
