‘Ghost in the Shell’ Releases First Official Trailer and it Looks Stunning

We got a small taste of ‘Ghost in the Shell’ earlier in the week when Paramount dropped a teaser. But now we have the first full official trailer with a stunning Tokyo backdrops and a futuristic, sci-fi aesthetic certainly add intrigue to the live-action story. Sitting aside for a moment the controversy of having a white actress take on the part of “The Major” this is shaping up to look like an amazing film.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

‘Ghost in the Shell’ hits theaters on March 31, 2017.
