Have you ever wanted to take control of your very own larger than life Kaiju? Looks like Anne Hathaway has beat you to it in her upcoming film “Colossal.”
She plays Gloria, an out-of-work girl who, that got kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend. She is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to his far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.
The film also stars Jason Sudeikis
(SNL, Horrorible Bosses), Austin Stowell (Whiplash), Dan Stevens (The Guest, Downtown Abbey) and Tim Blake (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?).
Colossal stomps into theaters on April 7.
