In an interview with Net A Porter, Anna Kendrick was asked what spandex-wearing hero she would want to be if offered the chance. “My brother sent me a ‘Squirrel Girl’ comic because he thinks I should,” she said. “I don’t know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!”
For those unfamiliar with the mutant superhero, the bushy-tailed Marvel character has taken down villains including Dr. Doom and Thanos with her super strength, speed and reflexes. She can also heal at accelerated speeds and has retractable knuckle spikes for fighting. And naturally, she can communicate with squirrels and loves to snack on nuts. *ah wanky, wanky*
A fan mocked-up what Kendrick may look like as Squirrel Girl. I for one just want more Anna Kendrick in any way shape or form so I’m down for this. What do you guys think?
