Is 80's Toy Boglins Making a Comeback?

MadBalls are making a comeback thanks to Mondo and now in an era where everything old is new again has never been more true, the 80’s monster puppet toy, Boglins appear to be making a comeback as well.

I had a couple of these in my collection as a kid. Years later I found them in a tote and they had melted together into one super Boglin.

The wicked little hand puppets were created by Tim Clarke in 1987 – soon after there were special edition Boglins for Halloween and even mini Boglins! The line was briefly restarted in 2000, but quickly vanished.

Now, nearly 30 years after their original arrival, the Boglins are showing signs of life. Clarke has been sharing images on Instagram of his odd creations from his past. “A sneak peek at the new clay Boglins we are working on with Clutter Gallery.”
