The season 8 premiere will mark the 100th episode of Robert Kirkman’s “The Walking Dead” on AMC. A milestone for a TV drama that lit the world on fire and made zombie a part of pop-culture again. The new 5 minute trailer provides a lot of build up for what is to come in season 8. Playing out almost like a music video until we get to the very end where a surprise twist is revealed. It appears there will be a massive time jump for Rick Grimes. Check out the trailer below to find out what we mean.
During the panel it was noted that production was halted following the tragic death of stuntman John Bernecker who fell more than 20 feet off a balcony onto concrete. Cast members including Reedus, Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) and Austin Amelio (Dwight) led tributes.
Robert Kirkman also announced at Comic-Con that “The Walking Dead” comic series would be coming to an end after 170+ issues.
