T.J. Miller Returns to “The Gorburger Show” on Comedy Central

T.J. Miller’s new Comedy Central gig, The Gorburger Show, will get its debut Sunday, April 9th. Comedy Central greenlight the series earlier this year. Miller goes from voicing toe fungus in commercials to the voice of “a giant blue extra-terrestrial who, after invading a Japanese television variety show and enslaving its staff, settles in as host in an attempt to understand what it means to be human.”

The season will consist of 8 episodes and has a wild and unexpected cast of characters that include; Reggie Watts, Larry King, Rob Corddry, Kenny G, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Tig Notaro, and more with “celebrity interviews, musical guests, strange games and other random happenings.”  With a mind like T.J. Miller’s I can only imagine what “other random happenings” will include and I for one cannot wait to see what he has in store. If I had to guess my money is on a tuna, diaper and a kiddie pool. *shrugs*

If the big blue monster looks familiar you would be correct. The Gorburger Show originally a Funny or Die web series and was pitched to HBO back in 2015. But until now it’s only been a bizarre fun web series – thank you for picking it up Comedy Central.
