There have been plenty of fantastic political skits on Saturday Night Live over the years. From Bill Clinton’s trip to McDonald’s to Will Farrell George W. Bush and more recently Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of Donald Trump.
Trump’s administration has been a gold mine of material of comedians and Saturday Night Live. It practically writes itself. Which is both hilarious and scary. That being said Melissa McCarthy made a surprise guest spot on SNL last night to give a fantastic impression of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. His off beat pacing, ill-fitting suits and shouting announcements and ill will toward legitimate news outlets have become his trademarks in only two shorts weeks. Check out the full skit below.
Next week we get a real treat when Alec Baldwin gets to hosts his own show. Rumors have it that he may do a majority of the show as Trump. We’ll have to tune in next week to find out.
