Ready Or Not follows a young bride (Samara Weaving
) as she joins her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival. They take ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ pretty seriously in this family.
As I watched the newly released red band trailer I couldn’t help but see the humor and horror. It reminded me a lot of the approach You’re Next used to meld the horror and humor elements together. Both in it’s tone and gruesome murder scenes. Even from a cinematic staond point they feel like they live in the same space.
