The new film ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ from director Reed Morano (The Handmaid’s Tale, Billions) focuses on Del (Peter Dinklage) who is alone in the world.

After the human race is wiped out, he lives in his small, empty town, content in his solitude and the utopia he’s methodically created for himself — until he is discovered by Grace (Elle Fanning), an interloper whose history and motives are obscure. Worse yet, she wants to stay.

‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ took home the Sundance Special Jury Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. Judging from the trailer it seems to live up to the hardware it took home. Both visually appealing and haunting in it’s storytelling Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning seem to deliver top notch performances. I applaud movies with 2-3 actors in them – set generally in one environment. It can be hard to pull off and when done well it can have great results on a budget. That being said ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ looks wonderful.
