Even though Justice League is more than a year away from hitting a theater near you, it doesn’t mean we won’t get a few peeks here and there at some of what’s to come. The latest comes from none other than director Zack Snyder, who tweeted a picture of Batman’s new “Tactical Batsuit.”
“Homestretch,” Snyder tweeted. “Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit.”
While the Tactical Batsuit has the same color scheme as the regular Batfleck Batsuit, it appears that there’s specific plates of armor adorning it, much like Bale’s suit in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. The cowl, on the other hand, has a clear resemblance to Nite Owl from The Watchmen, another Snyder-directed flick.
Batsy might not be the only hero getting a new look. An Instagram picture posted last month teased a black suit for Superman. You can see it for yourself here.
Justice League is slated to hit theaters November 2017, starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Henry Cavill as Superman. You can watch the first trailer for the film here.
