A Major Justice League Hero Appearance Might Have Been Spoiled By Big Bang Theory

With all of the secrecy surrounding the upcoming Justice League movie, its now quite possible that a Big Bang Theory contest has revealed a major MAJOR spoiler for the film. This has been made possible by a new promotion the series is holding, which sends one lucky winner to the movie’s Los Angeles premiere.

<The following story contains possible spoilers for the upcoming flim>

It has been pointed out on Reddit that as part of the contest, users must spin a wheel that includes the logos for the various Justice League members, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman. A seventh logo was also included, however, which happens to belong to none other than the Green Lantern.  That’s a noteworthy addition since, until this point, there has been no confirmation that a Green Lantern would appear at all in the film.

It should be mentioned that this isn’t the first time it’s been hinted that a Lantern showing up in the movie is a very real possibility.  An early trailer for Justice League included the movie’s villain Steppenwolf stating how vulnerable the planet was, noting there were “no Lanterns” and “no Kryptonians” to protect it.  While those who watched Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice know that Superman died at the end of that film, it’s also clear that he’ll be returning in some way in the upcoming movie.

Currently there’s a Green Lantern Corps film in the works slated for a 2020 release.  Naturally there’s no better way to drum up interest in that upcoming film than to include a Lantern–or Lanterns–in Justice League.

Whatever the case, fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out if this spoiler is the real deal.  Justice League hits in theaters on November 17.
