Before Daniel Radcliffe was busy chasing The Woman in Black or being a farting corpse in Swiss Army Man he was playing Quidditch with his pals Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. It’s been 15 years since they attended Hogwartz and the cast is all grown up – but the Potter franchise is still very much alive. In fact Radcliffe said he hasn’t ruled out revisiting the Harry Potter character down the road.
Until then we have a new cast of characters to look forward to in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The wizarding world you thought you knew is much larger than you imagined. This fall, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will transport Harry Potter fans back to 1920s New York City, and in preparation for our trip back in time, Rowling will be filling in some major historical blanks.
