Deadpool 2’s final trailer has officially dropped. The film is all set to hit theaters next month, and this latest promo definitely delivers the goods. It also gives us a glimpse of some of the members of X-Force, the superhero team that Deadpool assembles to take on Cable. While we already knew about Domino (Zazie Beetz), the video indeed confirms that Terry Crews is playing Beldam. We also have Shatterstar (Lewis Tan), and a normal guy named Peter that happened to reply to Deadpool’s want ad. Check the trailer out the below.
Deadpool 2 also stars TJ Miller, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and Julian Dennison. The film is directed by David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, John Wick). Leitch replaced Tim Miller, who reportedly left citing creative differences with Ryan Reynolds regarding the direction of the movie. It was reported last month that the film underwent reshoots to add more footage of Cable and Domino, both of which had proven very popular with audiences at the test screenings.
In a recent interview with Collider, Brolin described the physical challenges of playing Cable. “I got beat to s*** on that movie,” he stated, “I had stuntmen throwing me all over the place. I’ve got a shoulder issue, I’ve got a knee issue that I’ve got to deal with now, but we got through it. We got through it. I pushed hard and I suffered because of it.”
Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 15 in the UK and May 18 in the US.
