Chris Hemsworth plays a “Ken doll with the insides scooped out” in the ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot. Today they released a featurette showcasing Hemsworth’s character, Kevin, from the upcoming film. Apparently Chris has some good improv chops and made the cast break a few times during filming.
The receptionist role Hemsworth takes on in the reboot was originally portrayed by Annie Potts (Janine.) There is a definite shift in character traits from the original character. “Kevin” is a bumbling fool, while Janine actually felt intellectual and spunky. Not that this is a bad thing because you want something different out of the characters when someone creates a reboot. Check out the featurette then prepare to get smiled in theaters everywhere July 15th.
