BRIGSBY BEAR Adventures is a children’s TV show produced for an audience of one: James (Kyle Mooney). When the show abruptly ends, James’s life changes forever, he sets out to finish the story himself and must learn to cope with the realities of a new world that he knows nothing about.
In the new trailer James is coming to grips with the fact that he may be the only one watching Brigsby. His father, played by Mark Hamil, helps him cope with his new found feelings. What follows is a character study and a fun retro ride along the way. I also appreciate the VHS. It reminds me of a full size Teddy Ruxbin come to life.
