Even though the new Chucky is wreaking havoc on the cloud and taking over tech to terrorize a new generation, that doesn’t mean how they brought Chucky to life relied on CGI. In fact it was quite the opposite. A new behind-the-scenes look at the making for the red headed horror showcases how they brought Chucky to life through the use of 6 animatronic dolls and puppeteers. OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, Child’s Play follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.


CHILD’S PLAY opens in theaters nationwide June 21, 2019.
