The trailer for The Void has been a long time coming for horror fans. Those lucky enough to catch it at Fantastic Fest and Panic Fest have raved about the practical effects and throw back to old school horror.

For those of you not fortunate enough to catch screenings at those festivals then do we have a treat for you. The first official U.S. trailer for Jeremy Gillespie and Steven Kostanski’s gnarly flick The Void. Both are special FX veterans look to have provided a visual feast for horror fans to gnaw on. Blending paranoia and isolation horror that will make your skin crawl.

In addition to the U.S. trailer they also announced the U.S. release date of April 7th in select theaters! You can also catch it on VOD and On Demand April 24th! Watch the trailer below and see 30 more seconds of footage.

SYNOPSIS:
Encountering a blood-soaked man on a dark deserted road, a police officer rushes the victim to the local hospital.
