Last week FOX released a few images to tease their reboot of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and I was NOT impressed. Keep in mind I’m not a fan of the original film but if you are going to reboot or remake something and use the same characters at least get the look right. Some of the production value looked like it came right out of a high school play budget.
The times they are a warping. The sweet transvestite from Transylvania will be played by Laverne Cox, the first transgender actor to get an Emmy nomination, for her role on Orange Is The New Black.
Fox cast Cox as Dr. Frank N. Further, a role that was originated on both stage and screen by Tim Curry, in their two-hour made-for-TV adaptation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which in fairness should be called The Rocky Horror Television Show.
Today they released a new teaser trailer for the reboot but didn’t give us a lot to chew on. Check it out below and sound off in the comment section what you think of the new look of an old classic that has been reborn. Sheesh.

FOX is doing the Time Warp, with a brand-new production of the 1975 cult classic THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, set to air Fall 2016.
A reimagining of the original movie, the two-hour event follows sweethearts JANET (Victoria Justice, “Victorious”) and BRAD (Ryan McCartan, “Liv & Maddie,” “Heathers the Musical”), who stumble upon DR. FRANK-N-FURTER’s (Emmy Award-nominated actress Laverne Cox, “Orange is the New Black”) bizarre abode. Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous, flirtatious mad-scientist, is holding an annual Transylvanian science convention to showcase the birth of ROCKY HORROR – a muscle-bound specimen created solely to fulfill Frank’s desires. EVERETT SCOTT and Emmy Award nominee Tim Curry, the original Frank-N-Furter, as the show’s CRIMINOLOGIST NARRATOR.
