Looking for a horror anthology for the A.D.D. members of your Halloween crew? Trick R’ Treat features several stories that all have a connective tissue holding them together. What is it? The spirit of Halloween and a little shit named Sam that is out to wreak havoc on anyone that disrespects the holiday. If you were a fan of Creepshow, Tales From the Darkside or Tales From the Crypt you’ll dig this modern day horror gem. Fun Fact: The same creative team behind Trick R’ Treat also created the holiday horror hit Krampus. Both films take place in the same universe and a sequel to Trick R’ Treat is on its way.
1.) The Exorcist
Turn down the lights, light some candles and hand out some crosses as party favors then wait for Regan to spew vomit and crabwalk like crazy down some stairs. Pegged as the most terrifying movie of all-time (that claim still holds up today) this horror classic is eerie, unnerving and scary as hell.
If you are a fan of this classic be sure to check out the new TV series on FOX. The pilot episode did not disappoint but there is no way it can live up to the film since the series takes place on network TV.
