Hot on the heels of finally finding out what Jordan Peele’s upcoming thriller Us all about, we have a poster for the thing. Peele himself took to Twitter to reveal the design while is gorgeous, while also being rather simple. He also made sure to include a rather ominous warning concerning the picture.

Here’s the poster on it’s own, should you not be compelled to click the above.

First of all, lets just take a moment to recognize how oddly great it is to see “Academy Award Winner” before Jordan Peele’s name. That’s just a treat. As for the poster itself, it’s fantastic. We have no clue what it means, but that doesn’t make it any less terrifying. That red smock, cloak or whatever is foreboding on it’s own. Paired with the gold scissors though? You know not everyone is making it out of this film ok.

If you missed our report on the synopsis for the film, here’s what you need to know:

“A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o from Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (Winston Duke from Black Panther) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elizabeth Moss from TV series The Handmaid’s Tale). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.”

Are you too in love with this poster, dear reader? Planning on being to see the first when it comes out? Or are you one of the few people yet to see Get Out? If so, rectify that glaring oversight immediately and then tell us what you think in the comments. Us lands in theaters on May 15, 2019. Should it wind up at a festival before that (say SXSW), we’ll have a review up, shortly after it premieres.
