Travel Company Offering Pokemon Go Tours

One of the coolest aspects of “Pokemon Go” is that there are regional exclusive Pokemon. For example, Tauros is only catchable in North America, while Mr. Mime can only be found in Europe. This means you have to travel the world to Catch ‘Em All. But once you get to that foreign city, how do you know where to go to get the best Pokemon?  That’s where the company Viator comes in.

Viator is a travel company that specializes in “finding the best things to do everywhere we travel.” One of their most recent additions is a series of Pokemon Go Tours throughout the US and Europe. These tours range in length from 90 minutes to 3 hours, and can be either walking tours or car tours. Some of the car tours even promise the vehicles will have wifi, to save passengers from racking up ridiculous data usage. Of course, the cost of the tour reflects that, with the most expensive being a $245 Private Car Tour of Vienna. Fortunately, there are cheaper options, like the $21 walking tour of Split, Croatia, or the $18 Safari Bus ride through Memphis.

It’s hard to say if this will be a profitable move by Viator, but it’s not completely crazy. There have already been stories of players hiring chauffeurs to drive them around while they hunt Pokemon, and I can think of worse ways to spend a day than getting a private tour of some of the landmarks in a foreign city.

What do you think? Would you go on one of these tours? Let us know in the comments below.
