NSFW – ‘The Predator’ Final Red Band Trailer Looks Like A Bloody Fun Time

I will be the first to admit that I was immediately sold on the idea of a new Predator film. I love the first installment with all of my being – ALL…OF…MY…BEING. For a movie to measure up to its epic-ness is a far fetched task.

We had a sequel, two oft-maligned Xenomorph vs Yautja (the Predator species name) films, then an entertaining new take in Predators.

Finally we have come full circle with 2018’s The Predator.

Earliest trailers for this film were underwhelming to say the least. Not really quick to garner a whimsical reaction, I waited with bated breath to see if Shane Black and writing partner Fred Dekker would lead me astray. I can assure you that with the way I feel about seeing the final red band trailer for The Predator, I know without a doubt I will be entertained on opening night. Again, “Red Band” = NSFW, just in case you forgot.

Much of the final trailer is spliced from its predecessors but the new elements that have been shown give us a better idea of how the movie will lay out. We’ll see the familiar Predators – popularized in the first and second movies. We get an unlikely band of “crazy” mercenaries who will undoubtedly fight until the bitter end against our intergalactic foe. Then we see it. A monsterous predator, easily twice the size of those we’re familiar with, coming in into frame.

Previous trailers have eluded that this newly evolved predator is somehow genetically engineered to be a better hunting class, much bigger and with more refined abilities. If the ultimate hunter is evolving, then we’re screwed.

There indeed may be no stopping what can’t be stopped or killing what can’t be killed.

What did you think? Let us know what you think in the comments! The hunt will soon begin…again!
