Last week Kevin Smith announced on Philadelphia radio station 93.3 WMMR that he would be bringing back his cult classic film ‘Mallrats.’ Many anticipated a sequel to the film but instead he has actually struck a deal for a 10-episode TV series. No word yet on when or where we will see the series end up, but according to Smith it has been greenlit.
This news comes on the heels of a trailer for his newest endevour ‘Yoga Hosers,’ part of a his Canadian trilogy. But he is no stranger to the small screen either. AMC‘s ‘Comic Book Men’ has been a hit amongst collectors and fans a like. Each episode starts out with Smith and his friends discussing various topics each week from his comic book shop in Jersey.
