Judy Greer Joins Danny McBride’s ‘Halloween’ Film

Judy Greer is making her way to Haddonfield, Illinois. Last week, it was announced that Jaime Lee Curtis will reprise her role of Laurie Strode in the Halloween reboot-quel coming next year from Danny McBride, David Gordon Green & Blumhouse Productions. This week, we’re finding out that she has a daughter, Karen Strode, who will be played by Greer. Not much else is known at this time, but one would assume this will be one of the larger roles in the film.

Greer is one of the great “Oh! That girl! I love her!” actresses in Hollywood. She has well over 100 credits in both film and television and is no stranger to high profile projects. She was in 2014’s ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ in a mo-cap performance as Cornelia, the wife of Caesar, and will be reprising her role of Maggie Lang in next year’s ‘Ant-man and the Wasp’. Although, as great as Greer has been in everything, she will always be Kitty from ‘Arrested Development’ to me.

Halloween will be release October 2018 and will be directed by David Gordon Green. Danny McBride and Green will be co-writing the script. Jason Blum is producing and John Carpenter will serve as an exec. Producer.
