Gamers love fighting games. From Mortal Kombat to Street Fighter to the original Injustice, sales of mano a mano fighting games have continued to propel the gaming industry forward and have served as giant revenue streams for their developers.
Enter Injustice 2.
The highly anticipated sequel to 2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, Injustice 2 has expanded on the mythos laid forth by its predecessor and has continued to bring in additional characters through downloadable content.
If players weren’t content with just playing as Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman, no doubt the additions of Black Manta, Raiden and Hellboy were a huge win for developer NetherRealm Studios.
Now gamers have even more reasons to rejoice with the announcement of Fighter Pack 3! See the trailer below:
The addition of Enchantress, Atom, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will no doubt serve to provide an endless buffet of knuckle sandwiches. Early access to Atom will happen December 12th, with Enchantress and TMNT happening shortly thereafter.
Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition retails for $99.99 and is available now for Xbox One X, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. Gamers who have previously purchased the standard edition can get all of the additional content in the Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack for $39.99, available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
