Disney Plans to Open an Immersive “Star Wars” Themed Hotel & Theme Park

Disney announced at the D23 Expo they have plans to open a “Star Wars” themed hotel in which each guest member will get their own backstory. This thing is the real deal. We have some renderings that were revealed during the expo from TechCrunch and if looks to be completely immersive. Right down to all the windows displaying only the void of space and distance planets. On top of that all employees will also be decked out in full costume. It will feel like you are living and sleeping on a spaceship with other crew members. No word yet on when the hotel will open but we do know this is coming to Florida’s Walt Disney World.

Between this and the new “Star Wars” Land (theme park) we will have a TON of stuff to explore in the near future beyond just the new film releases and cool merch that goes along with it.

Check out some of the early renderings of the “Star Wars” hotel below along with a video from IGN that explores the new theme park.
