‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Is Coming Back For Season 9 on HBO

Larry David confirmed earlier this week that his hit show ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ is indeed coming back to HBO for season 9! The show last aired in 2011 and holds the distinction of being the network’s longest-running scripted comedy or drama series. The show has won both Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

Asked why he decided to come back, Larry David said, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’”

Casey Bloys, the President of  HBO programming added, “We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned.”

Curb is HBO’s longest-running scripted series, with 80 episodes to date. The series also performed strong in the ratings, with the eighth season debut to a series-high 2.1 million viewers. There’s no word yet when the season 9 will air. But we fell pretty…pretty….pretty good about it coming back!
