‘Avengers 4’ Still Doesn’t Have an Ending According to Mark Ruffalo

We all knew we were going to have to wait for a whole year to get the resolution for the cliffhanger at the end of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. However, I think most of us assumed they had a resolution. That is not quite the case according to Mark Ruffalo. The Hulk actor was speaking about the film to ‘The Marvelists Podcast’ and talked about the upcoming reshoots. He said, “We’re doing reshoots starting in September… Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don’t even know what it’s gonna be yet. We’re not just doing reshoots. We’re going to finish the movie, which we really didn’t get to finish totally when we left it last year.”

The actor has a bad reputation for spoiling the films when discussing them. So I think we should all be happy that there isn’t an ending yet. If there was, There’s at least a 40% chance Ruffalo would have accidentally mentioned it in the interview.

I don’t think this is as big a deal as the headline would lead one to believe. It sounds like they were trying get everything wrapped up last year when they were shooting ‘Infinity War’ & ‘Avengers 4‘ back-to-back. Unfortunately the press tour got in the way and that couldn’t be fully accomplished. It may seem a little concerning that these movies aren’t better planned out. But, As Ruffalo points out, the films are “living organisms” that can constantly change. Marvel Studios has had very few misses and I would trust the film will come together with minimal seams showing.
