TADA! It’s Scarlett Johansson!
Scarlett’s highest-grossing movie to date was the 2012 blockbuster The Avengers, which brought in $623.4 million in the US alone.
She’s appeared in a total of 37 movies tracked on Box Office Mojo thus far, with those films making an average of $90.1 million each.
The highest-grossing chart is, without surprise, dominated by both actors and actresses who have appeared in major blockbuster film franchises. Currently at the top of the list resides Harrison Ford ($4.8 billion), who has starred in 4 out of the 7 Star Wars films, the full Indiana Jones franchise, and so many more.
Johansson currently rests at No. 10 on the full chart of actors and actresses; the next actress after her being Shrek‘s Cameron Diaz (No. 19/$3 billion), followed by Helena Bonham Carter, (who found her greatest success amongst the Harry Potter franchise, No. 26/$2.82 billion) and then Cate Blanchett (No 29/2.8 billion), owed to her portrayal of Lady Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
