Last month, it was announced Bryan Cranston had agreed to play Rangers’ mentor and creator Zordon. Fun fact; Cranston was a voice actor on the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers in the early 1990s.
Adding another A List name to the cast is Elizabeth Banks as she takes on the role of Rita Repulsa. The actress stars as the iconic monster-unleashing villain in the upcoming reboot.
MTV also announced that the Power Rangers themselves, RJ Cyler (Billy: The Blue Ranger), Ludi Lin (Zack: The Black Ranger), Naomi Scott (Kimberly: The Pink Ranger), Becky G. (Trini: The Yellow Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason: The Red Ranger) are going to present at this year’s MTV Fandom Awards!
